Burn ban lifted

County commissioners canceled a countywide burn ban in effect since March 12 this morning.

Lincolnville fire chief Lester Kaiser spoke to commissioners requesting that the ban be lifted.

Those wanting to conduct a controlled burn should call county dispatchers for prior notification and approval at (620) 382-2144.
