Businesses will be recognized by state

Hillsboro Development Corporation has nominated three Hillsboro businesses to be honored for their service and contributions to the community and county in recognition of June as business appreciation month.

Sonic Drive-In, Midway Motors, and Jost Welding, Radiator, and Machine will receive their awards from Lyle Peterson, regional manager of Kansas Department of Commerce at noon Tuesday at Hillsboro Scout House in Memorial Park, Hillsboro.

The public is invited.
