The family of Duane and Karen (Heinbuch) Carlson of Lincolnville is celebrating the couple’s 40th wedding anniversary with a card shower.

The Carlsons were married Jan. 4, 1975, in Accokeek, Maryland. Duane is a farmer/rancher and Karen is a homemaker.

They have three daughters, Natalie Borgmann, Andrea Mendoza, and Carrie Carlson, and four grandchildren.
