Center to celebrate birthdays

Hillsboro Senior Center patrons will celebrate May birthdays on Tuesday.

The center will be closed Monday.

A farmers market meal will be served by the center from 5 to 7 p.m. May 29 for $6. Pulled pork and salad will be served at the city park to raise money to replace the center’s ailing air conditioner.

Volunteers are needed, contact Brenda Moss at (620) 947-2304 for more information.

June menus are available.

On June 2 Elton and Ella Berg will share stories about their ministries with center patrons.

Dr. Greg Erb from the Hillsboro Clinic will be at the center June 3.

Chair massages will be available the first Tuesday of every month instead of the first Wednesday beginning on June 3.

Bingo will be played every Wednesday after lunch.

On June 5 Jessica Schodel from Progressive Home Health will speak.
