Kevin L. Lewis Jr. graduated from basic training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

Lewis, a 2014 graduate of Centre High School, completed an eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles. He earned a bachelor’s degree in 2018 from Washburn University, Topeka.

Lewis is the son of Kevin L. and Susan A. Shields of Lost Springs.
