Cheerleading clinic begins

Hillsboro Recreation Commission is sponsoring a cheerleading clinic for girls and boys from kindergarten through sixth grade beginning Feb. 3.

The clinic will run from 3:45 to 5 p.m. Feb. 3 and Feb. 6 at the Hillsboro elementary gymnasium. Participants will perform Feb. 7 during halftime of the boys’ high school game.

The deadline to register is Friday at 5 p.m. and registration costs $15. Additional questions can be answered by emailing the recreation commission at recreation@cityofhillsboro.net or calling (620) 647-3490.
