Galen Chizek of Lehigh announces the engagement of his daughter, Megan Chizek, to Nick Carlson, both of Marion.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of Greg and Linda Carlson of Marion. The late Tammy Chizek is mother of the bride-to-be.

The future bride is a graduate of Hillsboro High School. She is employed by Container Services, Inc., Hillsboro, and as an emergency dispatcher for Marion County.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Marion High School. He is employed at Carlsons’ Grocery in Marion.

A March 21 wedding is planned at Eastmoor United Methodist Church in Marion.
