Christy Frantz

Christy Michelle Frantz, 34, of Topeka passed away Monday, Nov. 25, 2013, after her long courageous battle with leukemia.

Christy had a deep faith in the Lord and a great love of family. She will be most missed for her humor and her ability to turn everyday life into an adventure. She and her family had recently moved back to Topeka from Andover, N.J.

She was born Dec. 10, 1978, in Hannibal, Mo., the daughter of Terry G. and Cynthia D. (Sizemore) Agler. She was a graduate of Seaman High School and attended Kansas State University.

Christy married Nolan Z. Frantz on May 22, 2010, in Topeka. He survives. Other survivors include two children, Isaiah (7) and Aiyana (2) of the home; her parents of Topeka, siblings, Charla (Jon) Huston, Chattanooga, Tenn., Cami Harrington, Topeka, Carrie (Jim) Leske, Woodbury, Minn., Donnie (Elisa) Agler, Topeka, and Candace (Tom) Gommels, Rochester, Minn.; paternal grandmother, Jo Anne (Harvey) Young, Williamsburg, Va.; parents-in-law, Leonard and Jan Frantz, Hillsboro; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral ceremony was Friday, Nov. 29, 2013, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, Topeka. Interment followed at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery, Topeka. Christy lay in state Friday.
