Marion Police Dept. filed May 13 a notice of pending forfeiture of a Remington 1911 handgun; 5.7 grams of methamphetamine; a 2011 Ford Crown Victoria, black with white doors; and 3.5 grams of marijuana taken from Eduardo Roman-Ortiz, who was arrested May 10 on suspicion of distribution of opiates, possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana, and transporting an open container of alcohol.

Wells Fargo Bank was granted foreclosure May 4 on a house in Peabody owned by George Moore and Kari A. Moore. The Moores were ordered to pay $103,800.50.
