Kathy Parrish filed a wrongful death suit Sept 15 against Marion County and the City of Marion seeking more than $75,000 because of her daughter’s suicide Dec. 5, 2020, in the county jail.

Ivan Schmidt filed suit Sept. 6 against Joseph Willems seeking more than $75,000 for injuries and damages caused by a Jan. 28 wreck on Indigo Rd. in which Willems’ vehicle crashed into the rear of Schmidt’s vehicle.
