Clinic gets new practitioner

Staff writer

A new nurse practitioner at St. Luke Clinic in Marion is already a familiar face.

Natalie Libordi did three clinical rotations at the hospital and the clinic during her schooling.

Those rotations were in the fall of 2019 and spring and summer of 2020.

Her experience at St. Luke as a student inspired her to want to work there.

“I knew from that how open everybody is here and how welcoming,” she said. “The people drew me right in.”

She especially enjoys working with pediatric patients.

Libordi said her grandmother influenced her decision to go into nursing.

“She went to St. Francis School of Nursing, and I remember her stark white outfits and the stories she would tell,” Libordi said.

By high school, Libordi knew she wanted to go into nursing.

She graduated from WSU in 2013.

Then she pursued higher training and became a nurse practitioner.

She earlier served six years in the Air National Guard, based at McConnell Air Force Base in Wichita.

A native of Haysville, Libordi is a family nurse practitioner.
