CMBS banquet, tour May 6
Author Duane Stoltzfus of Goshen, Indiana, will be the keynote speaker at the Center for Mennonite Brethren Studies’s annual spring banquet.
The banquet will begin at 6:30 p.m. May 6 in the chapel at Tabor College.
Stoltzfus will present “On the Frontlines of Conscience: An Account of Four Hutterites Sentenced to Hard Labor at Alcatraz 1918-1919.” Based on his book, “Pacifists in Chains,” it is about four men who refused to perform military service during the war.
