An article in last week’s edition incorrectly stated the county Emergency Medical Services department is not licensed for a code-red trauma patient.

It was the specific crew of Tampa ambulance who took LifeSave paramedics and a patient to Wichita whose certifications did not allow them to treat code-red trauma patients.
