Attorney Seth Meyer, who received $3,870 for legal fees from Marion County in May, is not the attorney of the same name from Dodge City. He advertises offices in Cottonwood Falls, Emporia, and Herington and owns and receive mail at a rural property northwest of Florence.

Julie Michelle Snyder, not Nancy Garcia, was charged June 7 with possession of methamphetamine, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, habitual violator with a revoked license, transporting an open container of alcohol, and speeding. Garcia was charged with battery and disorderly conduct.
