A barn supper was Oct. 27 at the home of Scott and Tami Koehn in rural Lehigh. Doug and Starla Koehn were co-hosts. Guests were Larry and Wanda Koehn, Roy and Nadine Davis, Rick and LaVae Koehn, Ken and Shelly Giesbrecht and Taylor, Bruce and Cheryl Dirks, and Jeff and Monica Ratzlaff and girls.

Morning Star Youth hosted a soup supper Oct. 28 at the church. Donations were received for youth Christmas projects.

Wendell and Linda Wedel welcomed a new grandson, Gage Dillon, born Oct. 29 to Travis and Connie Becker. He weighed 7 pounds, 13 ounces. The family has a son, Garrett, who is 3. The Wedels visited Connie and the new baby that evening at Wesley Medical Center. The Wedels also visited the next day and brought Garrett home with them until Oct. 31. When they took Garrett home, they visited Naomi Mayeskea at Moundridge Manor.

Senior citizens met Oct. 27 at Durham Community building with Betty Youk as host. Seventeen people attended the meeting and played bingo.

Clayton and Betty Wiebe invited Larry and Wanda Koehn and Titus, Marlin and Bethany Wiebe, and Doyle and Kara Wiebe and family to dinner Oct. 31 in their home.

Some who attended the annual supper and bazaar Oct. 27 at Roxbury church were Verla Redger, Jaraine Redger, Lola Redger, Joyce Medley, Joan Harmon, and Ann Bartel.

Ransom and Lillian Wiebe invited Mark and Kris Wiebe and family and Stuart and Lea Isaac and Kyle for dinner Oct. 31. Lance Wiebe’s birthday was celebrated.

Students of Cottonwood Grove Christian School presented a poem fest on Nov. 1 at the Ransom Wiebe farm shed. Pupils spent many hours memorizing poems for the presentation. Refreshments were served.

Roy and Nadine Davis prepared dinner Oct. 31. Their guests were Bryon and Rebecca Thomas and family, Ken and Shelly Giesbrecht and Taylor, and Rick and LaVae Koehn and foster sons.
