Seniors meet for holiday dinner

Durham Senior Citizens met Nov. 17 and celebrated an early Thanksgiving Day with a dinner. Twenty-two attended. Registered nurse Helen Riadon made a presentation about helping low-income people and in missions and shelters.
Clayton and Betty Wiebe and Stuart and Lea Isaac were dinner guests Nov. 21 in the Leon Koehn home in Moundridge. Earlier, the Wiebes attended church services at Gospel Mennonite Church in Moundridge.
Tim Davis was a dinner guest Nov. 21 of Roy and Nadine Davis.
Families had pre-Thanksgiving Day dinners Nov. 21. Ransom and Lillian Wiebe hosted a dinner for their family. Enjoying the fellowship and dinner were Merlin and Karletta Wiebe and Jannesa, Mark and Kris Wiebe and family, Jason and Sheri Wiebe and family, Anthony and Beth Wiebe and Tylan, and Bryan and Rebecca Thomas and family.
The Dan Duerksen family Thanksgiving dinner was hosted Nov. 21 by the Marvin Duerksen family with a potluck supper. Attending from the Durham area were Ron and Dora Unruh; Mark and Barb Unruh and Sarah of Hesston; and Warren and Anita Unruh, Kyle, and Jenna.
The Koehn family met Nov. 21 for a basket dinner at Cottonwood Grove School. Larry and Wanda Koehn hosted the dinner. Guests were Lena Koehn and Margie Jantz of Newton; Crystal Koehn of Moundridge; Howard and Iris Eck, Kyndra, Briana, and Karalyn, Kim and Angie Eck, and Shannon and Jessica Eck and Casey of Haviland; the Andy Koehn family of Montezuma; Kamilla Koehn of Scott City; Dalton and Lorna Koehn and family; Travis and Sharon Koehn and family; Anna Toews; and Kristen Schneider.
