Morning Star youths host supper

Morning Star Church youth hosted a friendship supper Nov. 30 for senior citizens of the community. The supper was served to 100 people. A program followed the meal.
Ransom and Lillian Wiebe hosted a fundraiser Dec. 3 at their home for the school. Guests were Doyle and Kara Wiebe and Nelson and Bev Wiebe and families; Mark and Kris Wiebe, Kayla, and Luke; and Scott and Tami Koehn and sons.
Warren and Jane Unruh, Harlan and Sherry Koehn, Jason and Sheri Wiebe, Ransom and Lillian Wiebe, and Marlin and Bethany Wiebe presented a short service Dec. 4 at the Rescue Mission in Salina. After the service, they helped serve food. The group also provided cookies.
Clayton and Betty Wiebe invited Bruce and Cheryl Dirks and Heath, Marcel and Wendy Unruh and family, Jeff and Monica Ratzlaff and daughters, Roy and Nadine Davis and Eileen, and Tim Davis for dinner Dec. 5. They helped Tim celebrate his birthday, which was Dec. 4.
Supper guests of Harry and Sheryl Rhodes on Dec. 5 were Ken and Shelly Giesbrecht and Taylor, Calvin and Janene Wiebe and family, Darrin and Meri Kay Rhodes and family, and Mike and Mich Rhodes and family. They celebrated Morgan Wiebes fourth and Dustin Rhodes’ third birthdays.
Ransom and Lillian Wiebe hosted a dinner Dec. 5 for Jason and Sheri Wiebe and family, Ruston and Lydia Dirks and Chaniel, Harlan and Sherry Koehn, and Mark and Teresa Wiebe.
Morning Star youth and some relatives gathered at the home of Merlin Wiebe on Dec. 5 for a farewell for Lance Wiebe, son of Mark and Kris Wiebe. He left Friday for Veronica, Ore., for voluntary service for six months.
Cottonwood Grove School students will have their Christmas program at 7:30 p.m. Monday. The public is welcome to attend.
Dora Unruh and the Warren Unruh family attended Kyle’s sixth-grade Christmas program Dec. 6 at Hillsboro High School Auditorium.
