Justin and Rebecca Wiebe and family of Bloomfield, Iowa, were overnight guests July 17 of Ransom and Lillian Wiebe. The next day all attended the wedding of Andrea Hiebert and Kenton Toews at Alexanderfeld Church near Hillsboro. Merlin and Karletta Wiebe also visited before the Justin Wiebes returned to Iowa.
Ransom and Lillian Wiebe picked up Rochelle Mahaffey of California from the airport in Kansas City on July 19. She came with her baby to visit her mother, Ethel, who is in the McPherson hospital.
Roy and Nadine Davis visited their aunt, Ethel Steiner, July 17 in the McPherson hospital.
Dinner guests July 18 at the home of Clayton and Betty Wiebe were Les and Heather Isaac Ediberg of Alberta, Jarold and Rhonda Koehn and family, Shane and Lorna Koehn and family of Montezuma, and Tim Davis. Les is Rhonda’s brother. His family is visiting the Koehns.
Linda Wedel celebrated her birthday July 17 with a hamburger fry at the school. Hosts were Greg and Charlene Wedel and family and Travis and Connie Becker and Garrett. Other guests were Roy and Nadine Davis; Eileen, Rick, and LaVae Koehn; and some of the Mayeskea family.
Gene and Jaraine Redger welcomed a great-granddaughter when Kelsey Mae was born July 7 to their granddaughter, Hannah, and her husband in Newton. She is the first granddaughter of the Randy Redgers.
Bruce and Cheryl Dirks attended Hiebert-Toews wedding July 18 in Hillsboro. Later, they visited Irvin Isaac at Salem Home and Ethel Steiner in the McPherson hospital.
They then were guests for a supper in honor of Wendell and Karleen Burch’s 50th wedding anniversary at a restaurant near McPherson. Later visitors for refreshments were Rick and LaVae Koehn, Jarold and Rhonda Koehn and family, Les and Heather Isaac, Wendell and Linda Wedel, and Harlan and Sherry Koehn.
