Roy and Nadine Davis invited Doyle and Kara Wiebe and family and Jason and Sheri Wiebe and family Oct. 17 as dinner guests.

Harry and Sheryl Rhodes attended the visitation of Virgil Meyer, 93, Oct. 24 at Abilene Funeral Home. Services were Oct. 25 at Emanuel Methodist Church in Abilene. Palmer Base and Art and Violet Wedel attended the service.

Dora Unruh accompanied Lon and Deb Hiebert to a regional cross-country meet Oct. 24 for 1A and 2A schools at Mound City. Her grandson, Matt Hiebert, was one of the runners for Peabody-Burns High School.

Dinner guests at the Ransom and Lillian Weibe home Oct. 24 were Travis and Sharon Koehn and family, Sarah Peachy, Beth Koehn, Charla Nightengale, Chelisa Koehn, Anna Toews, and Kristen Schneider.

Wendell and Linda Wedel hosted a benefit supper Oct. 21 at a café for the school. About 65 people attended.

Those who enjoyed diner Oct. 24 at the home of Clayton and Betty Wiebe were Stuart and Lea Isaac and Kyle, Rustyn and Lydia Dirks and Chaniel, and Marcel and Wendy Unruh and family.

Tressa Redger was the guest of honor Oct. 17 for her 17th birthday when her grandmother, Lola Redger, hosted a dinner. Guests were Lisa Redger, Ray Redger, and Kyle Redger of Pratt and Verla Redger.
