Visiting ministers stay with the Dirkses

Morning Star Church is having meetings every evening. The visiting ministers, Lavern Koehn of Galva and Gerald Kahn of Liberty, Ky., are staying with Bruce and Cheryl Dirks.

Dinner guests of Ransom and Lillian Wiebe on Nov. 7 were Gerald Kahn, Lavern Koehn, Harry and Sheryl Rhodes, Bruce and Cheryl Dirks, Merlin and Karletta Wiebe, and Jerald and Rhonda Koehn.

Supper guests of Clayton and Betty Wiebe on Nov. 2 were Wayne and Loralee Wiebe and family, Sarah Peachy, Charla Nightingale, Chelisa Koehn, and Beth Koehn.

Mike and Michlene Rhodes and family of Bradley, Ark., spent a week with their parents, Harry and Sheryl Rhodes, while their house was being prepared. They moved in to the former Marcella Unruh home Nov. 13. Mike will work at G&R Implements.

What had been planned as an outdoor wiener roast Nov. 12 at the Ron Unruh home became an indoor event because of rain. Those who attended the indoor roast were Jim and Brenda Enns; Lon and Deb Hiebert and Matt; Mark and Barb Unruh; Warren and Anita Unruh, Nathan, Kyle, and Jenna; David and Ashley Enns and family; Darren Enns; and Corina Neufeld. Birthdays that were celebrated were Warren’s Nov. 12, Ron’s Nov. 13, Elizabeth’s Nov. 17, Sara’s Nov. 9, Lexie’s Nov. 7, Kyle’s Nov. 24, and Brenda’s Nov. 23. Birthday cake and ice cream were served.

Breakfast guests Nov. 13 in the home of Doyle and Kara Wiebe were Ransom and Lillian Wiebe, Gerald Kahn, and Lavern Koehn. The Wiebes and the ministers were guests for supper Nov. 14 of Troy and Marla Wiebe.
