Wiebes return from trip

Ransom and Lillian Wiebe returned home Jan. 12 after visiting relatives in California and Oregon. They visited Frank and Karen Unruh and some of their family in the Glenn, Calif., area. They went to Oroville, Calif., to see Russell and Krystal Koehn. The Koehn’s grandchildren, Greg and Dianne (Koehn) Becker, were visiting from Texline, Texas. From there the Wiebe’s continued on to Vernonia, Ore., where they visited Lance Wiebe who is doing some service work there in construction. At Scio, Ore., they visited Lillian’s cousin, Agnes Becker. Then they drove along the coastline stopping at Atwater, Calif., to see Matt and Rochelle (Steiner) Mahoffey and family, and then to Livingston, Calif., where they spent the night with granddaughter Jana Wiebe.
Eileen Davis and Katie Unruh left Jan 14 for Bloomfield, Iowa, where they visited Hiram and Rhonda Wedel. They returned Jan. 17.
Dinner guests of Roy and Nadine Davis Jan. 16 were Rick and LaVae Koehn and boys.
Mike and Mich Rhodes and family and Darrin and Meri Kay Rhodes and family were Jan. 16 dinner guests of Harry and Sheryl Rhodes.
Lorna Wiebe hosted tea the morning of Jan. 18 at the Dalton Wiebe home. The group celebrated Wanda Koehn’s birthday.
Dora Unruh and Warren Unruh and Nathan attended the Peabody-Burns game Jan. 18 at Centre. Matt Hiebert plays on the Peabody-Burns team.
