Wiebes host dinner

Clayton and Betty Wiebe invited Melvin and Elvera Penner of Manitoba, Canada, Jason and Sheri Wiebe and family, and their houseguests Errol and Mae Wedel and Loretta Wiebe as supper guests March 22. The Wiebes had their houseguests and Nelson and Bev Wiebe, Travis and Sharon Koehn, Wayne and Loralee Wiebe, and Calvin and Janene Wiebe and families as their supper guests March 23.
Relatives from the area attended a memorial service for Darrell Koehn, 57, March 23 at Gospel Mennonite Church in Moundridge. His wife, Donna (Redger), grew up in the Durham community.
Guests in the Larry Koehn home on March 26 were Travis and Sharon Koehn and family, Dalton and Lorna Wiebe and family, and Leonard and Dianne Peachy. Dalton and Travis’ birthdays were celebrated.
Ron and Dora Unruh went to Hesston March 24 to attend a grandparents’ banquet with Sarah at Hesston College.
Eating dinner March 27 at the home of Marcel and Wendy Unruh were Bruce and Cheryl Dirks and Heath, Greg and Charlene Wedel and family, and Anthony and Beth Wiebe and Tylan.
Kaitlin Unruh stayed some of spring break with her parents, Mark and Barb Unruh.
Durham Senior Citizens met March 23 for a meeting at the community building with a potluck. Host Lila Unruh decorated tables with some of her collection of lighthouses. Twenty-two members attended. Gayla Ratzlaff gave a PowerPoint presentation about 50 years of senior citizens activities in the county.
