Harry and Lela Wedel and their family, Harry and Sheryl Rhodes, Darrel and Donita Rhodes, Merlin and Karletta Wiebe, and Ron and Jenelee Becker gathered for dinner Feb. 14 at the home of Kelly and Karleen Koehn. The dinner was in honor of Harry Wedel’s 85th birthday.
Wendell and Linda Wedel, Ruston and Lydia Dirks and Chaniel, and Rick and LaVae Koehn were Feb. 14 dinner guests of Travis and Sharon Koehn.
The Cottonwood Grove School had a short break, as there were no classes Feb. 12 and 15.
Calvin and Janene Wiebe and family went to Bradley, Ark., to visit the Mike Rhodes family Feb. 13 through 14.
Nelson and Bev Wiebe and family flew to Huma, Ariz., to visit Nelson’s sister Loretta Wiebe.
Dora Unruh attended services for her cousin Ike Pauls at Buhler Mennonite Brethren Church.
Merle and Pam Hartman spent three days with Pam’s parents, Palmer and Lucille Base. They attended a birthday celebration for recent birthdays of Conrad and Kathryn Hartman Feb. 13. The celebration was at McCall Manor Apartments in Salina. Several friends and relatives attended. Conrad recently moved there from the farm, and Kathryn is in a nursing home until she gets stronger from a recent illness. She will join Conrad at the apartments soon.
Chester and Melissa Boehs; Ruth Boehs of Louisville, Ga.; Richard and Charlotte Wiebe, Arlyn and Carlyn; Dalton and Lorna Wiebe and family; Beth Koehn; and Elma and Clara Towes were Feb. 14 dinner guests of Larry and Wanda Koehn.
Eileen Davis, Katie Unruh, Charla Nightingale, and Sarah Peachy went to Hydro, Okla., for a weekend with Katie Stutzman.
Jaraine Redger attended the funeral of Delilah Deckert Feb. 11 at Hillsboro First Mennonite Church.
Warren Unruh and family celebrated Nathan Unruh’s birthday on Feb. 13 with dinner in Salina.
