Rhonda Davis and Hiram Wedel, of Bloomfield, Iowa, were married May 30 at Morning Star Church. Friends, relatives, and neighbors attended, including Ron and Dora Unruh; Mark and Barb Unruh, Katelin and Sarah; and Warren and Anita Unruh, Nathan, Kyle, and Jenna Unruh. The couple will live in the Bloomfield area.

The Dayton Unruh family got together May 28 through 31 for a reunion at Calico Rock, Ark. Denise Koehn and Christopher Schrock were not in attendance.

Clayton and Betty Wiebe had Melvin and Alberta Schmidt of Minnesota as guests May 29 and 30.

Tim and Shelia Koehn and family left May 27 for three years of mission work in Zimbabwe. Larry and Wanda Koehn received word May 30 that they had arrived safely May 29.

Houseguests of Ransom and Lillian Wiebe last week were Hiram Wedel; Loren Toews of Arthur, Ill.; and Don and Donna Wedel of Bloomfield.

Dinner guests of Clayton Wiebe May 29 were friends Gerald and Margi Koehn of Geiger, Ala. Wiebe participated in community service with Gerald Koehn many years ago.

Approximately 160 people attended a supper for relatives and friends who came for the Wedel wedding May 29 at the school.

Larry and Wanda Koehn went to Greensburg May 27 to attend the funeral for the 7-month-old daughter of Aaron and Marsha Yost. Marsha Yost is a niece of Larry Koehn.

Ransom Wiebe hosted a supper May 30 for family. Guests were the Justin Wiebe family of Bloomfield, the Merlin Wiebe family, the Mark Wiebe family, the Jason Wiebe family, Kendall and Susan Wiebe, Anthony and Beth Wiebe, Tylan and Brian Wiebe, and Rebecca Thomas.

A group of boys were house guests May 29 and 30 of Larry Koehns.

On June 1, Tom and Sara Penner and family, of Canada, visited their parents Larry and Wanda Koehn. They were on their way home after attending the Unruh reunion in Arkansas. The family got together for supper June 2 in the Koehn home.

Dora Unruh watched her grandson Matt Hiebert play baseball June 3 in Hillsboro. Hiebert plays for the Hillsboro American Legion team.
