The great news from this area is we had rain. It varied from about 2 inches in the northern part to almost 4 inches in Durham. Everyone was grateful for every drop.

A family dinner in the Clayton Wiebe home was enjoyed on Sept. 18. Guests were the Nelson Wiebe family, Wayne Wiebe family, Calvin Wiebe family, and the Travis Koehn family. Clayton’s recent birthday was honored.

Wendell and Linda Wedel went Sept. 18 to Moundridge Manor on to have dinner with her mother, Naomi Mayeskea.

Dinner guests Sept. 18 in the home of Roy and Nadine Davis were Jarold and Rhonda Koehn and family, Carlyn and Jackie Wiebe, Chet and Mellissa Boehs and Kaylyn, Charla Nightingale, Calla Wenger, and Keela Smith.

Ken and Sandy Wiebe invited Leonard and Dianne Peachy, Doyle and Kara Wiebe and family, and Sandy’s niece, Jodi, and Whitney Unruh of Galva to be their dinner guests on Sept 18.

Many attended Arts and Craft Fair in Hillsboro and Art in the Park in Marion on Sept. 17.

Enjoying dinner on Sept. 18 in the home of Ransom and Lillian Wiebe were Larry and Wanda Koehn and Titus, Darrel and Donita Rhodes, Dale and Kathy Jantz, Harry and Sheryl Rhodes, John Steiner, and Tim Davis.

Mike and Mich Rhodes and family spent an extended weekend in Bradley, Ark., helping her parents, Raymond and Ethlene Unruh, celebrate their 50th anniversary.
