Eileen Davis and Larry Schmidt are to be married June 3. Eileen, daughter of Roy and Nadine Davis, has been working in Clarksdale, Mississippi, for the past year, and Larry is also from Clarksdale. The wedding will be at Morning Star Church.
Supper guests March 29 at the home of Clayton and Betty Wiebe were Ron and Lydia Toews, Bruce and Cheryl Dirks, Larry and Wanda Koehn, and Dale and Kathy Jantz.
There were several benefit dinners for Cottonwood Grove Christian School. On March 27, Dale and Kathy Jantz hosted one. Their guests were Ransom and Lillian Wiebe, Larry and Wanda Koehn, Harry and Sheryl Rhodes, Aaron Herbel, Cody Wiebe, Jordon Wiebe, and Titus Koehn.
Greg and Charlene Wedel hosted a benefit supper March 30, and their guests were Ransom and Lillian Wiebe, Jarold and Rhonda Koehn and family, Ken and Sandy Wiebe, and Ruston and Lydia Dirks and family.
Ron and Dora Unruh attended a grandparents’ banquet with their granddaughter, Sarah Unruh, March 29 at the Hesston College Dining Room. They enjoyed the meal and music presented by students.
Rick and LaVae Koehn and boys were dinner guests of Roy and Nadine Davis on April 1.
Ransom and Lillian Wiebe, Richard and Charlotte Wiebe and Arlyn, Quinton and Dianne Unruh and Jessie, and Wendell and Linda Wedel were dinner guests of Marcel and Wendy Unruh on April 1.
Teacher Charla Nightingale will be married June 24 in New Plymouth, Idaho. The announcement was made April 1.
The Nelson Wiebe family, Travis Koehn family, and Calvin Wiebe family were supper guests March 30 at the Clayton Wiebe home. They celebrated Travis’s birthday.
The Durham Senior Citizens met March 28 for a potluck meal. Betty Youk was the hostess. There were 23 people present, and some brought old items to show and talk about for entertainment.
The Morning Star Youth presented a program of music and narrating the Crucifixion and Resurrection story with readings April 1 at the church. There was a large audience that enjoyed the program.
