Carmen Unruh and Anthony Unruh were married July 15 at Lone Tree Church near Galva. She is the granddaughter of Madelene and the late Harvey Jantz, formerly of the Durham community. Among those attending the wedding were Bruce and Cheryl Dirks, Warren and Jane Unruh, Merlin and Karlette Wiebe, Roy and Nadine Davis, Stuart and Lea Isaac, Clayton and Betty Wiebe, Vince and Julie Jantz, and Wendell and Linda Wedel.

On July 10, Larry and Wanda Koehn hosted a supper in honor of their granddaughter Kaylee’s ninth birthday. Guests were Travis and Sharon Koehn and family, Dalton and Lorna Wiebe and family, and Leonard and Dianne Peachy and son.

Wendell and Linda Wedel went to Fredonia late Saturday afternoon to join the rest of the Mayeskea family in celebrating her youngest brother’s 50th birthday.

Ransom and Lillian Wiebe went to Goessel on the evening of July 11 to visit Vera Dirks at Bethesda Home.

Clayton and Betty Wiebe visited Ken Wiebe July 12 at Newton Medical Center.
