Clayton and Betty Wiebe spent an extended weekend Aug. 30 visiting in Kent. They went especially to see Betty’s niece and family, Jay and Jan Schmidt in Fountain Run, Ky. They also visited the Richard Harms family in Liberty and friends in Murray.

Moundridge Manor hosted the annual Resident Family Picnic on Sept. 4. Local families that attended were Ransom and Lillian Wiebe, Clayton and Betty Wiebe, Richard and Charlotte Wiebe, Bruce and Cheryl Dirks, Larry and Wanda Koehn, Quinton Unruh, and Warren Unruh.

Ransom and Lillian Wiebe hosted a family dinner Sept. 6 for Merlin Wiebe and family, Jason Wiebe and family, Mark Wiebe and family, Beth Koehn, Brian and Rebecca Thomas and Kristina, Anthony and Beth Wiebe and Tylan, and Kendall and Susie Wiebe.

Guests of Clayton and Betty Wiebe for dinner Sept. 6 were Tim Davis, Leonard Eicher, Bruce and Cheryl Dirks, and Irvin Isaac. Mark and Kris Wiebe hosted the annual Wiebe Labor Day breakfast on Sept. 7. There were 65 attendees.

Merlin and Karletta Wiebe, Jana and Janesa, left Aug. 29 for Livingston, Calif. While there, they visited Merlin’s sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Frank Koehn, in Glen, Calif.

Marcella Unruh celebrated her birthday Sept. 7. Attending were Gerald and Pam Unruh, Gene and Sue Unruh, Don and Marlene Sattlefield, and Ron and Dora Unruh.
