Many friends, relatives, and neighbors attended the large wedding Sunday morning at Morning Star Church. Marlin Wiebe and Bethany Dirks were united marriage and will live in the community.

Clayton and Betty Wiebe left for Yuma, Ariz., Jan. 21 and returned Jan. 26. They went to visit her sister, Mae, and husband, Errol Wedel and their daughter, Loretta Wiebe. The weather was warm and farmers were harvesting a lot of lettuce.

Several young people came home Sunday for the wedding. Rhonda Davis spent the weekend, returning Sunday evening to Bloomfield, Iowa. Joni Wiebe of Buhl, Idaho, returned to teaching Monday. Denise Koehn left Tuesday to return to her job at Brooksville, Miss.

Ron and Dora Unruh visited J.R. and Shirley Unruh Friday at Hutchinson.

Relatives and those who had come from a distance for the wedding gathered Saturday evening at the school for supper, a short program, and singing.

Weldon and Nancy Koehn and their foster sons came from Buhl, Idaho Thursday and were houseguests of Roy and Nadine Davis. She is Roy’s niece. The Koehns visited relatives at Halstead Friday and returned Saturday to the Davis’.

Overnight guests of Clayton and Betty Wiebe were his sister and her husband, Chris and Lester Friesen of Farwell, Texas.

Youth from Lakin and Montezuma spent Saturday night in the Larry Koehn home.

Ransom and Lillian Wiebe had Tob and Josie Schultz from Western Kansas as their guests overnight Saturday.

Verna Decker, formerly of this community, recently fell in her home and was hospitalized for a week. Cards are requested to help cheer her. Her address is Verna Decker, 525 E. Main Street, Sidney, MT 59270.
