Congratulations to Bruce and Cheryl Dirks on the arrival of a granddaughter, Macy Claire, born March 3 to Allen and Heather Martin in Ghana, West Africa. She weighed 8 pounds and 2 ounces and has a 2-year-old sister to welcome her.
Greg and Charlene Wedel hosted a birthday get-together Wednesday evening for their daughter Teona’s second birthday. Guests were Wendell and Linda Wedel, Dale and Kathy Jantz Ruthann, and Tory and Marla Wiebe and family.
The Nelson Wiebe family, Travis Koehn family, and Calvin Wiebe family were supper guests Thursday of Clayton and Betty Wiebe.
Ransom and Lillian Wiebe visited the Duane Ratzlaff’s Monday at their home.
Kathy Dirks, Joyce Weinbrenner, Colleen Weinbrenner, and Pat Ford went to Wichita Saturday and met Sheri Mount, her mother, and her sister for dinner. They also did some shopping.
The Mark Wiebe family and Ransom and Lillian Wiebe visited Henry Redger Wednesday evening and had refreshments together.
Sunday dinner guests in the home of Clayton and Betty Wiebe were Jarold and Rhonda Koehn and family, Stuart and Lea Isaac and Kyle, Irvin Isaac, and Teresa Wiebe.
Ransom and Lillian Wiebe went to Copeland Saturday for a supper in honor of Manford and Deloris Nichols’ 50th wedding anniversary. Anthony and Beth Wiebe and Tylan also were guests. The Nichols are Beth’s grandparents.
Ron and Dora Unruh visited Ron’s brother, J.R., Wednesday and Sunday afternoon at Hutchinson Hospital.
Bruce and Cheryl Dirks visited at the Howard and Charlene Becker home Sunday afternoon. Recently she returned home from a Wichita hospital. The Beckers had just returned from Africa and Charlene had been hospitalized since then.
Ransom and Lillian Wiebe visited Helen Wiebe at The Manor in Moundridge. They also saw Melvin and Vera Dirks.
Guests at the Mark Unruh home Sunday evening were her brother, Gordon, and Elaine Stutzman of Twin Falls, Idaho. Saturday evening they were supper guests of Chad and Hillary Stutzman in Hutchinson. Mark and Barb also visited his Uncle J.R. at the hospital.
Katelin Unruh is spending spring break from Kansas State University at home with her parents and Sarah.
Wendell and Linda Wedel went to Fredonia for the weekend. They helped her brother and wife celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary Saturday evening. They also spent time with her mother before returning home Sunday evening.
