Just another snow to make things rather miserable and making it seem like spring will never get here. The wind seems to be blowing one way or another each day.

Leland Davis of Victoria, Texas, was an overnight houseguest Saturday and Sunday in the Roy Davis home. He was doing a trucking job with a delivery Monday at Newton. Other Sunday dinner guests in the Davis home were Harold Davis of McPherson and Rick and LaVae Koehn.

Calvin and Janene Wiebe hosted a fundraiser supper Friday evening for the school. Their guests were Byron and Rebecca Thomas and family, Rayletta Ratzlaff, Harlan and Sherry Koehn, and Travis and Sharon Koehn and family.

Larry and Wanda Koehn invited Clayton and Betty Wiebe, Harry and Lela Wedel, Leonard Eicher, and Darrin and Meri Kay Rhodes and family Sunday for dinner.

Ron and Dora Unruh attended a pre-Easter Duerksen family gathering Sunday at Alexanderwohl Shelter House at Goessel. Marvin and Rosalie Duerksen and Sandy, and Brendan and Susan Nafziger, Brooke and Colby hosted it.

Guests for a hamburger supper Saturday at the Bruce Dirks home were Ruston and Lydia Dirks and her nieces and nephews, Katie Toews of Murray, Ky., and Marlin and Bethany Wiebe.

Gene and Jaraine Redger attended the wedding of their granddaughter, Melinda Redger, to Robin Ebersole at 4 p.m. Saturday at First Mennonite Church, Newton.
