Congratulations to Anthony and Beth Wiebe on the arrival of their first child. A son was born to them Oct. 27 at Salina Regional Health Center. They named him Tylan Anthony and he weighed 8 pounds 5 ounces. Local grandparents are Merlin and Karletta Wiebe and great-grandparents are Harry and Lela Wedel.

Clayton and Betty Wiebe went to Walker, Mo., Wednesday for memorial services of her sister, Violet Schneider, which were Thursday. The Calvin Wiebes, Nelson Wiebes, and Travis Koehns also attended the services.

Sunday supper guests of Merlin and Karletta Wiebe were Jana Wiebe, Katie Stutzman, Sarah Peachy, Beth Koehn, Roy and Nadine Davis and Eileen, Calvin and Janene Wiebe and family, and Irvin Isaac.

Terry and Barb Hiebert invited James and Lillian Hiebert, Clayton and Betty Wiebe, Mrs. Gordon Koehn, Melvin and Vera Dirks, and Mike Ryff for Sunday dinner.

Ransom and Lillian Wiebe went to visit the Anthony Wiebes and their new baby Sunday afternoon.

More news next week when hopefully most of the fall harvest will be complete. Everyone has been very busy making use of the wonderful weather. The trees and scenery are gorgeous.

Mark and Barb Unruh helped Monday and Tuesday with MCC meat canning. He is one of the committee members.
