Clayton and Betty Wiebe flew to Phoenix, Ariz., Nov. 7 to be with their daughter Loretta, who had surgery. Clayton returned home Nov. 10 and Betty stayed until Nov. 14.
Dinner guests of Jarold and Rhonda Koehn Nov. 15 were Wendell and Linda Wedel, Kendall and Susie Wiebe, and Rick and LaVae Koehn and children.
Merle and Pam Hartman were Nov. 14 guests of Palmer and Lucille Base.
Harry and Sheryl Rhodes left Nov. 5 to visit their children Mike and Mich Rhodes and family in Bradley, Ark. They returned home Nov. 11.
Stuart and Lea Isaac spent Nov. 15 visiting Irvin Isaac at the Salina hospital. Other visitors included Clayton and Betty Wiebe, Ransom and Lillian Wiebe, and Irvin’s daughter Elaine Classen of Macon, Miss.
Dinner guests of Harry and Sheryl Rhodes Nov. 15 were Calvin Wiebe and family, Darrin Rhodes and family, and Ken Geisbrecht and family. They celebrated the 8th birthday of twins, Dallas and Dana Wiebe, which was Nov. 14.
Dinner guests of Roy and Nadine Davis Nov. 15 were Kate Stutzman, Sarah Peachy, Charala Nightingale, and Beth Koehn.
Valora Redger, daughter of Gene and Jaraine Redger, died suddenly Nov. 14. A memorial service was Nov. 18 at the First Nazarene Church in Newton with the burial at Peace Valley Cemetery in rural Durham.
Bruce Dirks returned home Nov. 16 after spending a week in Guntersville, Ala. Cheryl and Heath Dirks were dinner guests Nov. 8 of Marlin and Bethany Wiebe and had dinner out Nov. 15 with Ruston and Lydia Dirks in Abilene.
