Farmers in the area have been busy planting, cutting alfalfa or hay, or baling at night.
Harry and Sheryl Rhodes went to Bradley, Ark., May 21 to visit Mike and Mich Rhodes. They went to see their granddaughter, Madison, a first- grader, participate in a school program. The Rhodeses returned home May 23.
Dinner guests of Richard and Charlotte Wiebe on May 30 were Roy and Nadine Davis, Rhonda, and Eileen; Rick and LaVae Koehn; Marlin and Bethany Wiebe; and Chet and Melissa Boehs.
Friends hosted a bridal shower May 26 for Rhonda Davis at the home of Warren and Jane Unruh.
Mark and Barb Unruh visited at the Ron Unruh home May 30.
Bruce Dirks was in Soldotna, Alaska, a few weekends ago to attend meetings. Bruce and Cheryl helped Melvin and Vera Dirks move May 25 from their apartment in Moundridge to Moundridge Manor Nursing Home.
Clayton and Betty Wiebe, Nelson and Bev Wiebe and family, and Wayne and Loralee Wiebe and family went to the Sedgwick County Zoo on May 31 in Wichita.
