Breakfast guests on Sept. 25 and 26 of Paul and Arlene Pankratz were Althea Zimmerman and her son, Lee Allen, of Missouri. They came to attend the 60th wedding anniversary reception for Jay and Luella Burkhart in Newton. The Pankratzes also attended the reception.
Leonard and Hazel Hein announced the arrival of a new great-grandson, Oliver James, to Tony and Brandi Hein of Newton. Oliver has a brother, Henry, and a sister, Grace, to welcome him into the family.
Willis and Ruth Ann Penner attended the John M. Pankratz cousins’ reunion Sept. 26 at Garden Community Church, Hesston.
Lonnie and Carolee Penner of South Dakota were weekend guests of Clara Toews. Clarence and Betty Penner of South Dakota also stayed a few days to visit Clara.
