Willis and Ruth Ann Penner visited their daughter, Debbie Goossen, and her family Feb. 12 and 13 in Beatrice, Neb., for the wedding of their granddaughter, Amber Goossen, to Tyler Schroeder.

Elgin and Rubena Bartel, Diana Ewert, and Loretta Paxton hosted a dinner Feb. 13 for all Salem Apartment residents.

Clara and Alma Toews were Feb. 14 dinner guests of Larry and Wanda Koehn of Durham. Ruth Boehns of Georgia was also a guest. The Toews also visited Marvin Ensz and family in Hillsboro. The Toews attended dinner Feb. 13 at the home of Kathy Yost in Hesston. Yost is a registered nurse and spent two weeks in Haiti caring for earthquake victims.

Paul and Arlene Pankratz celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary Feb. 11 at the home of Oliver Mohn. Other guests were Gaylord and Valera Hamm of Durham and Gus and Mildred Hamm of Tampa.

Irene Seibel was a Feb. 14 dinner guest of Clint Seibel and family.

Wilbur Hanneman was a Feb. 14 dinner guest of Oliver Unruh and family.

Justin and Amy Friesen of Salina, Becky Soyez of Marion and family, and Anthony and Carissa Thiessen and family of Hillsboro visited Wayne Friesen and family Feb. 14 to celebrate Wayne’s birthday.
