Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Penner and daughters from DeSmet, S.D. were Sunday dinner guests at the Marvin Ensz home. Other guests were Carol and Verna Ensz, Larry and Karen Ensz and family, Galen Ensz and family, Alma and Carol Toews, Monica Milsap, Autume Medal, and Tiffany Penner. The Lonnie Penner’s came to visit their daughter, Tiffany, who teaches at Hope Valley Christian School.

Tim and Donna, Marissa and Paul, and Arlene Pankratz took ice cream and cake to the home of Kent and Emily Nichols Friday evening in Hesston to celebrate Emily’s birthday.

Willabeth Gonzalez of Newton spent a day with her parents, Bill and Betty Meier.

Leonard and Hazel Hein attended a birthday party Sunday for Henry Hein’s 6th birthday at the home of John’s parents, Tony and Brandie Hein, in Newton.

Pearl Koch and Rachel Epp of Hillsboro and Mary Ann Epp of St. Louis, Mo. were supper guests Saturday night at the home of Gordon and Judy Heibert.

Paul Pankratz was the honored guest at a birthday dinner Saturday evening hosted by his family at a Salina restaurant. Family attending were his wife, Arlene, Ken Pankratz of Durham, Tim and Donna Diener of Hillsboro, Marissa Diener of Manhattan, Kent and Emily Nichols of Hesston, and David and Sherilyn Kadel of Randall.
