Durham Baptist Church women celebrated Marcella Mohn and Beverly Elliott’s birthdays Friday with dinner at a Hillsboro restaurant. Others in attendance were Betty Meier, Shirley Hamm, Doris David, Pearl Koch, Frances Unruh, Arlene Pankratz, Carol Ollenburger, and Lois Nuss.
Duwane and Jane Miller and Edie Ollenburger attended the funeral of the Millers’ brother-in-law, Bob Neuenschwander, Friday in Scott City.
Norman and Dot Ensz attended a birthday party for their granddaughter, Stephanie Ens’, 19th birthday at the home of her parents, Terry and Joni Ens at Maize. Stephanie is a student at Tabor College.
Supper guests Monday at the home of Alma and Clara Toews were Mr. and Mrs. Ray Hiebert and family of rural Lehigh. They will be moving to Pecof, Texas, in the near future. The Alexanderfeld Church had a farewell for them Sunday evening.
Don and Connie Isaac joined Raymond Wiebe and John and Carol Wiebe for breakfast at a café Saturday in Durham to celebrate John’s birthday.
