Edie Ollenburger and Betty Meier were honored guests Friday at a birthday dinner at a Hillsboro restaurant. Others in attendance were Marcella Mohn, Frances Unruh, Arlene Pankratz, Shirley Hamm, Ruth Hamm, Connie Wiens, Jane Miller, and Carol Ollenburger.

Paul and Arlene Pankratz visited the Oliver Mohns Thursday evening.

Gene and Sue Seible of Illinois were weekend visitors in Hillsboro. Gene and Sue, Mary Seible, Lowell and Eleanor Jost, and Karis Jost of Newton attended the MCC sale Saturday in Hutchinson.

The Koslowsky family had supper together Thursday at a Newton restaurant. Shirley Bartle of Albuquerque, N.M., was a special guest. Others from Hillsboro who attended were Mary Seibel, Lowell and Eleanor Jost, Ken and Carla Koslowsky, and Tom and Laurie Koslowsky.

Alexanderfeld Church hosted a hamburger fry Friday evening to honor teachers of Hope Valley School. The event was at the Scout House in Hillsboro.

First and second grade pupils of Hope Valley School and their teacher, Tiffany Penner, were luncheon guests Monday of Alma Toews.

Kimberly Koch of Wichita visited her grandmother, Pearl Koch, and Gordon and Judy Heibert Monday.

Marcella Mohn and Arlene Pankratz of Hillsboro, Gaylord and Valera Hamm of Durham, and Gus and Mildred Hamm of Tampa attended funeral services Tuesday for their cousin, Leah (Nely) Cheever at Herington.
