Helen Unruh of Fairview, Okla., spent several days visiting Oliver and Frances Unruh. Additional Sunday supper guests were Bev Elliott and Sid Unruh and family of Newton.

Paul and Arlene Pankratz were Monday supper guests at the Willis Penners.

Pearl Koch and Gordon and Judy Heibert attended high school graduation ceremonies Sunday afternoon for Pearl’s granddaughter, Megan Fleener, at El Dorado High School.

Jerry and Joan Jost vacationed in California for two weeks, celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. They attended the filming of the game show, “The Price is Right,” in Las Angeles, and visited Lewis and Mary Lou Heibert, Jim and Margaret Barkman, Art and Lois Wiebe, James and Mary Lou Porter, and Mr. and Mrs. David Ediger, all friends and relatives in California, and Daryl and Shirley Klassen in Colorado.

Mary Seibel and Lowell and Eleanor Jost attended a reception for graduate Hillary Wolfe from Berean Academy. The reception was at Corner Heights Church in Newton. Hillary is the daughter of Edward and Judy Wolfe. Dorothy Seibel of Newton accompanied the Josts to the reception.

Tim and Donna Diener and Marissa spent the weekend in Garden City where they attended graduation exercises for Krista Kopper Saturday. Krista is the daughter of Bryce and Ann (Diener) Kopper.

Trudy Pankratz of Abilene visited Saturday morning at the Paul Pankratz residence. Trudy and Herb Pankratz son, Andrew, is attending Tabor College. On Thursday, Andrew visited at the Paul Pankratz home.
