Lillian Dickens of Wichita visited Friday afternoon at the Paul Pankratz’s. Irene Bezdek of Hillsboro visited Sunday evening.

The Oblander family had their reunion Saturday at the Durham Community Building. Family there were Virgil and Jean Oblander of Hillsboro, Jim and Carol Hett and Jack and Treva Kerbs of Marion, Kim and Jonas Frantz of Tampa, DeEtta Williams of Emporia, Burt Oblander of Newton, Laura Ollek and daughter and Ruby Smith of McPherson, LaDell Riffel of Enterprise and Dag and Neda Schlehuber from Colorado.

Verden and Pauline Harms attended funeral services Monday at Utica, for their friend, Larry Machelis.

Jeremy and Joan Jost had supper out Sunday evening in Newton with Joan’s mother Elda Mellott, Richard and Vickie Mellott and Joan, and Esther Brooks, all of Peabody.

Ralph and Cindy Seibel from Atlanta, Ga., spent the weekend with their mother, Irene Seibel.

Saturday afternoon visitors at the home of Mary Seibel were Frances Quintana from Emporia, Ralph and Cindy Seibel from Atlanta, Ga., Lowell and Eleanor Jost and Amber Jost and children.

Tim Dieners, Oliver Mohns and Paul Pankratzs of Hillsboro, Gus Hamms and Jim Hamms of Tampa took a light meal to the Gaylord Hamms at Durham Tuesday evening to celebrate Gaylord and Valera’s September birthdays.
