NEW ARRESTS
Yael Araujo Porras, 25, Wichita, arrested Saturday by a state trooper on suspicion of driving without a valid license.
Jason Anderson, 44, Peabody, jailed July 23 for failing to appear in court; released two days later on $5,000 surety bond. He previously was jailed Nov. 16 for probation violation.
Kyle Bowen, 22, Wichita, jailed Monday for failing to appear in court; released four hours later without bond. He previously was arrested May 11 on suspicion of driving under the influence and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Shawn Brown, 34, Milford, arrested Thursday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of arson, criminal damage to property, and an out-of-county warrant for failure to appear in court.
Justin Chrisjohn, 41, Marion, jailed Friday for 48 hours on court orders. He previously was jailed for contempt of court Jan. 16 and for other 48-hour periods April 6 and June 8.
James Emmert, 66, Wichita, arrested Monday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of driving under the influence, transporting an open container of alcohol, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, and speeding; released an hour later on $2,500 surety bond.
Robert Findley, 32, Peabody, jailed July 23 for 48 hours on court orders. He previously was jailed March 20 on suspicion of fleeing police and driving with a revoked or suspended license, Feb. 6 for probation violation, and Dec. 15 for failing to appear in court.
Brittney Guerrero, 30, Lost Springs, arrested July 25 by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of criminal trespass; released four hours later on $50 surety bond.
Rodney Hayes, 49, Florence, arrested July 25 by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of disorderly conduct; released 3½ hours later on $500 surety bond.
Darin Hill, 49, jailed Tuesday for attempted failure to appear in court; released eight minutes later on $200 cash bond.
Rita Hood, 52, Florence, jailed Monday for contempt of court; released half an hour later on $5,000 surety bond. She previously was jailed May 4 and 18 on court orders.
Jacob Lenz, 32, Peabody, jailed Friday for 48 hours on court orders.
Sarah Malone, 23, Hillsboro, arrested July 25 by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of issuing a worthless check; released half an hour later without bond.
Donald Miller, 27, Florence, arrested Friday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of driving while his license was suspended; released the next day on $1,000 surety bond. He previously was jailed June 4 for failing to appear in court and June 5 on suspicion of domestic battery.
Zachary Nichols, 19, Wichita, jailed Monday for contempt of court and failing to appear in court. It was his fourth jailing in less than a year. He previously was jailed for contempt Nov. 3, on a motion to revoke probation Dec. 18, for probation violation March 26.
Michael Schmeal, 21, Junction City, jailed Friday for 48 hours on court orders. He previously was arrested Dec. 4 on suspicion of possessing drugs and paraphernalia and April 27 for 48 hours on court orders.
Emily Timmermeyer, 20, Peabody, jailed Thursday for failing to appear in Peabody municipal court; released half an hour later on $500 cash bond.
Rebecca Williams, 43, Lincolnville, jailed July 25 for probation violation; released the next morning on $500 cash bond. She previously was jailed Nov. 19 for 48 hours on court orders.
Eric Williams, 30, Marion, jailed Friday on two warrants alleging failure to appear in court. It was his fifth jailing since March 10, when he also was jailed for failing to appear, as he was on March 22 and April 16. He also was jailed April 27 for five days on court orders and June 29 for violating probation.
