NEW jailings

Kyle D. Bowen, 24, Wichita, jailed Aug. 5 on suspicion of parole violation. Held in lieu of $10.000 surety bond. Previously jailed May 11, 2018, on suspicion of driving under the influence and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia; July 30 to Aug. 7, 2018, for failure to appear in court; Dec. 21 to 23, 2018, for reasons not listed on the jail roster; and Nov. 29 to Dec. 1 to serve a two-day sentence.

Andrew R. Brown, 33, Hope, jailed Saturday for allegedly failing to appear in court. Released 45 minutes later on $150 cash bond.

Kyleigh E. Clarke, 19, Meriden, jailed Aug. 4 on a warrant alleging failure to appear in court. Released Thursday on her own recognizance.

Janet M. Geren, 60, Marion, arrested Thursday by Marion police on suspicion of domestic battery. Released the next day without bond.

Rebekah D. Hurd, 28, Wichita, jailed Aug. 5 for allegedly failing to appear in court. Held in lieu of $7,500 surety bond. Previously jailed May 5 to 8 on suspicion of possession of stolen property, fleeing or attempting to elude law enforcement, counterfeiting, possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, and operating a car without an ignition interlock device.

Michael A. McCollums, 60, Topeka, arrested Monday by a state trooper on suspicion of operating a vehicle without the proper classification. Released three hours later on $1,000 surety bond.

Mitchell W. McMillen, 42, Peabody, arrested Aug. 5 by Peabody police on suspicion of criminal threat, aggravated assault of a law enforcement officer with a deadly weapon, interference with a law enforcement officer, being a pedestrian under the influence of alcohol or drugs, battery, and criminal damage to property. Held in lieu of $20,000 surety bond.

William C. Petersen, 66, Hillsboro, arrested Tuesday by Hillsboro police on suspicion of driving under the influence. Held in lieu of $2,500 surety bond.

Nathan D. Schafer, 20, Hillsboro, jailed Sunday on suspicion of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Released Monday on $2,000 surety bond.

Helen J. Smith, 54, Peabody, jailed Aug. 5 for allegedly failing to appear in court. Released Thursday on $200 cash bond.
