NEW ARRESTS

Joshua L.D. Estey, 19, Peabody, arrested July 28 by a bounty hunter and held without bond on a warrant alleging failure to appear in court. Previously jailed four times for a total of 220 days on various charges of contempt of court, failing to appear in court, and failing to register. These jailings came after he was jailed Dec. 19, 2019, to Feb. 19, 2020, on suspicion of rape, aggravated battery, and aggravated indecent liberties with a child.

Eric C. Pettit, 38, Galva, arrested July 28 by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of possessing stolen property. Released the next day on $2,500 surety bond.
