NEW ARRESTS

John M. Dobran, 31, Walton, arrested Saturday by a state trooper on suspicion of failing to appear in court. Released an hour later on $315 cash bail.

Richard D. Hill, 33, Wichita, arrested Aug. 3 by a sheriff’s deputy for twice allegedly failing to appear in court. Held in lieu of $5,000 surety bond. Previously jailed four times, for a total of 35 days, between July 5, 2019, and June 21 of this year. He three times was accused of failing to appear in court and also was jailed on suspicion of aggravated battery, aggravated burglary, criminal damage to property, and domestic battery.

Harvey L. Johnson, 59, Peabody, arrested Aug. 3 by Peabody police on suspicion of violating probation and failing to appear in court. Held in lieu of $10,000 surety bond and $50 recognizance bond. Previously jailed three times, for just one of two days at a time, between July 28, 2019, and Feb. 9, 2020, on court orders and for allegedly failing to appear in court and violating probation.

Roger L. Williams, 66, Florence, arrested Monday by Sheriff Robert Craft for allegedly failing to appear in court. Held in lieu of $60,000 bond of unspecified type. Previously jailed twice, for just a few hours each time, on Oct. 21, 2019, and April 26 of this year, both times for allegedly failing to appear in court.
