NEW ARRESTS

Natasha E. Arnold, 40, Herington, arrested Thursday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of domestic battery. Released eight hours later on $2,500 surety bond.

Mackenzie A. Cromer, 20, Peabody, arrested Sunday on a Missouri warrant alleging aggravated failure to appear in court. Held without bond until picked up by Missouri authorities.

Clayton T. Lingenfelter, 23, Hillsboro, arrested Feb. 8 by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of possessing a stolen firearm and criminal possession of a weapon by a felon. Released two days later on $5,000 surety bond. Previously jailed seven times, a total of 302 days since April 18, 2018, for eight times failing to appear in court, for twice violating an offender registration act, and on suspicion of burglary, theft, trespassing, and possessing a controlled substance, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia plus a previous allegation of criminal possession of a weapon by a felon.

Ashley B. Loomis, 33, Marion, jailed Monday for twice failing to appear in court. Released four hours later on $4,000 in surety bonds. Previously jailed 17 times for a total of 25 days between Oct. 17, 2018, and Jan. 31. Previous incarcerations were for 12 times failing to appear in court and twice allegedly violating probation, for being in contempt of court, on a Herington warrant, and on suspicion of possessing stolen property, burglary, theft by deception, criminal damage to property, and obstructing apprehension.

Charles L. Peterson, 21, Shawnee, arrested Monday by a state trooper on a Cass County, Missouri warrant for failure to appear on drug charges. Held in lieu of $10,000 cash bond.

Kelby J. Schmidt, 28, Hillsboro, arrested Thursday by Hillsboro police on suspicion of attempted harassment by telecommunication, criminal damage to property, and reckless driving. Released the next morning on his own recognizance.

Dominic L. Voelker, 42, Florence, arrested Friday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of driving while his license was canceled, suspended, or revoked. Released two hours later on $1,000 surety bond.
