NEW JAILINGS

Glenn Acevedo, 28, Hillsboro, jailed Friday for 60 days on court orders. Previously jailed July 1 to 21 on suspicion of taking indecent liberties with a 14- to 16-year-old and falsely reporting a crime.

Robert S. Ayers, 47, Hillsboro, arrested April 5 by a sheriff’s deputy for three times failing to appear in court. Held in lieu of $15,000 surety bond pending a May 23 court date. Previously jailed five times for a total of 145 days since Jan. 12, 2018, on court orders, for revocation of probation, and for interfering with law enforcement.

Zachary C. Danner, 37, Marion, jailed for 48 hours Monday on orders from Peabody Municipal Court. Previously jailed Sept. 11 on suspicion of driving under the influence of intoxicants and failing to display evidence of liability insurance.

Tory R. Elkins, 41, Wellington, arrested Friday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of two counts of possessing drugs and single counts of possessing marijuana, a controlled substance, and drug paraphernalia. Released the next day on $10,000 surety bond pending a court appearance Tuesday.

Ashlyee N. Hiebert, 22, Hutchinson, arrested April 5 by a sheriff’s deputy for failing to appear in court. Released six hours later on $10,000 surety bond pending a May 2 court date. Previously jailed three times for a total of 11 days since July 4, 2020, on suspicion of possessing drugs, marijuana, and paraphernalia and for twice failing to appear in court.

Brian W. Hiebert, 25, Florence, arrested April 6 by Hillsboro police on suspicion of possessing marijuana, a controlled substance, and drug paraphernalia and of driving without a license, registration, or proof of liability insurance. Released Friday on $2,500 surety bond pending a May 4 court date. Previously jailed four times for a total of 22 days since Aug. 19, 2018, for three times failing to appear in court, once on court orders, and on suspicion of two counts of theft and single counts of burglary, trespassing, contributing to a child’s misconduct, and providing beer or alcohol to a minor.

Tanner L. Jasper, 22, Hillsboro, arrested April 6 by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of violating probation. Held in lieu of $2,500 surety bond pending a May 2 court date. Previously jailed 13 times for a total of 288 days since Aug. 12, 2018. Jailed once on court orders, twice for contempt of court, for five times violating probation, and for five times failing to appear in court. Also jailed previously on suspicion of making a criminal threat, disorderly conduct, interfering with a law enforcement officer, driving without a license, theft by threat, underage purchase of alcohol, and possession of drugs, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

Justice L. Johnson, 21, Abilene, jailed Friday for 48 hours on court orders. Previously jailed four times for a total of 10 days since Oct. 15, 2020, on court orders and for twice violating probation, for failing to appear in court, and on suspicion of burglary and theft.

Damarius M. Peterson, 21, Newton, arrested April 5 by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of possessing drugs, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. Released five hours later on $2,500 surety bond pending a May 4 court date.

Rashawn J. Pleass, 26, Wichita, arrested Friday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of two courts of drug possession and single counts of distributing drugs, failing to appear in court, and driving while his license was canceled, suspended, or revoked. Held in lieu of $10,000 surety bond.

Monique D. Trigg, 28, Wichita, arrested Friday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of possessing and distributing drugs, possessing marijuana, and conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance. Held in lieu of $5,000 surety bond pending a Tuesday court date.

Madison M. Tucker, 27, Hillsboro, arrested Sunday by Hillsboro police on suspicion of domestic battery. Released 1½ hours later without bond.
