NEW ARRESTS

Amber L. Barella, 39, Albuquerque, arrested Tuesday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of possession of illicit stimulants, hallucinogens, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. Held in lieu of $5,000 surety bond.

Joshua M. Caldwell, 38, Peabody, arrested June 29 by Peabody police for failing to appear in court in Harvey County. Released 15 hours later with no bond specified. Previously jailed three times for a total of 17 days between May 21, 2018, and Nov. 19, 2021. Previous jailings were for twice failing to appear in court and for allegedly violating probation.

April N. Fore, 34, Peabody, arrested Thursday by Peabody police on suspicion of battery and for three times failing to appear in court. Released Monday after posting $14,500 in surety bonds. Previously jailed 11 times from for a total of 36 days from April 25, 2018, to June 13, 2022. Previous jailings were for 11 times failing to appear in court, three times allegedly violating probation, once on court orders, and on suspicion of giving a worthless check and twice driving without a valid license.

Janet M. Geren, 61, Marion, jailed Friday for 48 hours on court orders. Previously jailed three times for a total of five days from Aug. 6, 2020, to May 9, 2022. Previous jailings were for contempt of court, for allegedly violating probation, and on suspicion of domestic battery and possessing illegal stimulants and drug paraphernalia.

Robin J. Hays, 43, Florence, arrested Monday by a sheriff’s deputy for allegedly violating her probation. Held in lieu of $2,500 surety bond. Previously jailed July 31 through Aug. 5, 2018, on suspicion of possessing methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia and aggravated child endangerment by exposing a child to meth chemicals. Also previously jailed Nov. 15 to 20, 2020, on a warrant alleging issuance of a worthless check and three counts of theft.

Esteban Islas-Rufino, 41, Atlanta, Georgia, arrested June 28 by a state trooper on suspicion of driving without a valid license and failing to display proof of liability coverage. Released 9½ hours later after posting a $500 surety bond.

Brandy M. Layden, 37, Albuquerque, arrested Tuesday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of possession of illicit stimulants, hallucinogens, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. Held in lieu of $5,000 surety bond.

Christopher M. Lieder, 33, Hillsboro, arrested Thursday by a sheriff’s deputy for failing to appear in court. Released 10½ hours later on unspecified bond. Previously jailed three times for a total of 93 days between Oct. 22, 2019, and Nov. 9, 2021. Previous jailings were on court orders and for twice failing to appear in court.

Eric C. Pettit, 39, Galva, arrested Thursday by Hillsboro police on suspicion of driving while his license was canceled, suspended, or revoked; operating an unregistered vehicle; and failing to display evidence of liability insurance. Released two hours later after posting a $2,000 surety bond. Previously jailed June 18, 2020, and July 28 and 29, 2021. Previous jailings were on suspicion of aggravated assault, criminal damage to property, and possession of stolen property.

Julie M. Snyder, 43, Hillsboro, arrested Saturday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of possessing illicit stimulants, drug paraphernalia, and an undetermined illicit drug. Released 14 hours later after posting a $10,000 surety bond. Previously jailed three times for a total of seven days from April 12, 2019, to June 17, 2022. Previous jailings were on court orders and on suspicion of driving while her license was canceled, suspended, or revoked.
