NEW JAILINGS

Daniel J. Billinger, 23, Hillsboro, arrested Nov. 1 by Hillsboro police for failing to appear in court and on suspicion of driving while his license was canceled, suspended, or revoked. Released a day later after posting $2,900 in surety bonds. Previously jailed June 12 and 13 on suspicion of aggravated battery.

Ian A. Davies, 30, Junction City, arrested Sunday by a state trooper on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and transporting an open container of alcohol. Released 10 hours later after posting a $1,500 surety bond.

Dakota L. Easterberg, 26, Marion, arrested Monday by Marion police for allegedly violating his probation. Released five hours later after posting a $15,000 surety bond. Previously jailed Aug. 26 through 29 on court orders and July 23 through 29, 2020, on suspicion of possessing stimulants and drug paraphernalia.

Justin W. Fuqua, 51, Cottonwood Falls, arrested Nov. 1 by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of distributing stimulants, trafficking in contraband in a correctional facility, interference with a law enforcement officer, having no drug tax stamp, and possessing drug paraphernalia. Released a day later after posting a $7,500 surety bond.

Dustin J. Luchi, 43, Marion, arrested Tuesday by Marion police for allegedly violating his probation three times and on suspicion of making a criminal threat. Held in lieu of $10,000 surety bond. Previously jailed eight times for a total of 25 days between April 1, 2021, and Oct, 13, 2022. Previous jailings were for allegedly violating probation twice, for revocation of probation, and on suspicion of four times interfering with a law enforcement officer, four times possessing drug paraphernalia, twice distributing a controlled substance, twice possessing illicit stimulants, once possessing marijuana and no drug tax stamp, twice violating an order of protection, domestic battery, a previous charge of making a criminal threat, driving without a valid license, and three times driving while his license was canceled, suspended, or revoked.

Tommy E. McBride, 41, Florence, arrested Thursday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of distributing stimulants and possessing drug paraphernalia and marijuana. Released Saturday after posting a $15,000 surety bond.

Kyle R. Pruitt, 22, Newton, arrested Monday by Marion police for allegedly violating his probation. Held in lieu of $10,000 surety bond. Previously jailed Sept. 4 through 9, 2021, on suspicion of five counts of making a criminal threat.

Samuel I. Reffett, 40, Durham, arrested Saturday by Hillsboro police for failing to appear in court. Released 30 minutes later after posting a $130 surety bond. Previously jailed Aug. 13 and 14 on suspicion of driving while his license was canceled, suspended, or revoked and of tampering with and driving without a required anti-drinking ignition interlock; May 17 and 18 on suspicion of domestic battery; and Jan. 21 through 23 on court orders.

Michael D. Rindt, 54, Lyndon, arrested Monday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of possession of stimulants, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia and criminal trespassing. Released 6½ hours later without bond.

Ashley T. Slifer, 38, Elmdale, arrested Nov. 1 by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of possessing stolen property and displaying an unassigned license plate. Released two hours later without bond.
