NEW JAILINGS

Amanda K. Adam 34, McPherson, arrested Saturday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Released 13 hours later after posting a $1,500 surety bond.

Seth A. Banning 31, Marion, arrested Nov. 16 by Marion police for failing to appear in court. Released 6½ hours later after posting a $2,500 bond.

Kayla S.Y. Gosnell, 23, Marion, jailed Sunday for 72 hours on court orders. Previously jailed five times for a total of 13 days between May 12, 2021, and June 7, 2022. Previous jailings were for twice being in contempt of court, for allegedly violating her probation twice, for failing to appear in court and on suspicion of possessing marijuana, another controlled substance, and drug paraphernalia

Bryan D. Higgins, 37, Stillwell, Oklahoma, arrested Thursday by a bounty hunter for failing to appear in court and allegedly violating offender registration requirements. Held in lieu of $10,000 in surety bonds. Previously jailed four times for a total of six days between April 9, 2020, and April 22, 2022. Previous jailings were on court orders and on suspicion of failing to stop at a stop or yield sign, battery of and interference with a law enforcement officer, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and twice driving while his license was canceled, suspended, or revoked.

Bryce M. Jones 26, Hutchinson, jailed Nov. 16 for allegedly violating his probation. Released Friday after signing a $5,000 signature bond. Previously jailed Jan. 28 to 30 and Dec. 3 to 5 on court orders and May 15, 2021, on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and transporting an open container of alcohol.

Kevin L. Kelsey 58, Marion, arrested Nov. 15 by Marion police for failing to appear in court. Released 3½ hours later after posting a $2,500 surety bond.

Kristopher L. Kienzle, 47, Red Oak, Texas, arrested Sunday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of distribution of stimulants and possession of stolen property and drug paraphernalia. Held in lieu of a $20,000 surety bond.

Donte R. Roberts 40, Junction City, jailed Thursday for failing to appear in court. Released Saturday after posting a $5,000 surety bond.

David A. Shaw 36, Herington, arrested Friday by a game warden on suspicion of driving under the influence. Released 2½ hours later after posting a $2,500 surety bond.
